When we quote you a rate it will be all inclusive, there will never be any hidden fees added on with the exception of incontinence supplies.
After my mother had a fall in her home and her dementia progressed to where she needed residential care, I was blessed to find Oasis on Yucca, where my mother lived until her passing. It was the worst of times for me, especially as I lived out of state. Yet while I struggled to navigate everything that comes at you during a time like that, there was one thing I never had to worry about – my mom was safe, comfortable, and being well cared for.
The level of personal care and attention my mother received at Oasis on Yucca was extraordinary. Simona, Michelle, and the other caregivers always treated her with patience, kindness, and dignity. They cared about my mother as a person and it was obvious in every possible way that she was receiving the same kind of love and tenderness I would have given her myself if I could have been there.
In addition to how they cared for my mom was the way in which they cared for me. Every time I had a question, my phone call was either answered or promptly returned. My mother was unable to use a cell phone, but anytime I wanted to talk to her they put her on the phone. I was even able to text pictures and they would show them to her. And when I needed help interpreting my mother’s situation, Simona was always compassionately honest with me.
Oasis on Yucca is not an institution, it is a home. It is beautiful, warm, exceptionally clean, and completely unlike a typical residential care setting. My mother and the other residents shared home-cooked meals and daily life together. Simona organized events and always made an effort to honor each resident’s spiritual and personal needs.
I will never be able to adequately thank Simona, Michelle and the other staff at Oasis on Yucca for all they gave to me and my mom.
